Tab Bar Navigation
EUnify uses a tab bar at the bottom of the screen (iPhone) or a sidebar on the left (iPad) for main navigation. Here's what each section contains:
Explore
The interactive map showing universities and cities across Europe. This is your primary discovery tool.
- Pan and zoom the map to explore different regions
- Tap markers to view institution or city details
- Use the floating search bar for quick searches
- Long-press for additional options
Compare
Your comparison workspace where you can evaluate options side-by-side.
- Switch between comparison types (Institution, Program, City, Country)
- Add up to 3 items per comparison
- View saved comparisons
- Access visual charts and detailed metrics
Checklists
Your application tracking hub.
- View all active checklists
- Create new checklists for institutions
- Track deadlines and requirements
- Mark items as completed
Profile
Your personal settings and data management.
- Edit your profile and preferences
- Manage privacy settings
- Export or delete your data
- Access app settings

Common Gestures
Use these gestures throughout the app:
- Tap: Select items, open details
- Long press: Access additional options, add to comparison
- Swipe left: Go back, dismiss
- Swipe right: Reveal actions on list items
- Pinch: Zoom map in/out
- Two-finger rotate: Rotate map view
Search Everywhere
Use the search feature to quickly find:
- Universities and colleges
- Academic programs
- Cities and countries
- Help articles (from the Help Center)
Pro Tip: On iPad, use Cmd + F to quickly open search from anywhere in the app.
Back Navigation
To go back to a previous screen:
- Tap the back arrow in the top-left corner
- Swipe from the left edge of the screen
- Use breadcrumb navigation when available
