- Be trustworthy - reject deception and abuse
1. Permitted Activities
We encourage you to:
- Create authentic professional profiles with accurate information
- Share insights, knowledge, and professional content
- Connect and network with other members
- Engage in respectful professional discussions
- Utilize AI-assisted features with appropriate human judgment
- Report content that violates our guidelines
2. Prohibited Conduct
2.1 Illegal & Harmful Content
You may not:
- Share illegal material or content that violates laws
- Promote violence, terrorism, or dangerous activities
- Post content that exploits or endangers others
- Encourage self-harm or suicide
- Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
2.2 Harassment & Abuse
We do not tolerate:
- Bullying, intimidation, or personal attacks
- Threats of violence or harm
- Hate speech targeting protected groups (race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability)
- Stalking or unwanted persistent contact
- Coordinated harassment campaigns
Note: Professional disagreement differs from personal attacks. Critique ideas, not individuals.
2.3 Impersonation & Misrepresentation
You must:
- Use your real identity - fake accounts are prohibited
- Accurately represent your credentials and affiliations
- Not impersonate other individuals or organizations
- Not make false claims about certifications or qualifications
2.4 Privacy Violations
Prohibited actions include:
- Sharing others' personal information without consent ("doxxing")
- Posting private communications without permission
- Harvesting or scraping user data
- Unauthorized surveillance or tracking
2.5 Platform Manipulation
You may not:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
- Artificially inflate engagement (fake likes, follows, comments)
- Use unauthorized bots or automated tools
- Scrape content or data without permission
- Bypass access controls or security measures
- Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
2.6 Intellectual Property
Respect others' rights:
- Only share content you have rights to use
- Provide proper attribution for others' work
- Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or patents
- Respond appropriately to valid takedown requests
2.7 AI Misuse
When using AI features:
- Do not present unverified AI output as established fact
- Do not use AI to impersonate real people
- Do not attempt to bypass AI safety measures
- Label AI-generated content when required by law
- Maintain human oversight and judgment
3. Enforcement Actions
Violations may result in proportionate responses based on severity, context, and potential harm:

| Temporary Suspension | Account is suspended for a defined period |

We consider factors including: violation severity, user history, intent, impact on others, and potential for ongoing harm.
4. Reporting & Appeals
4.1 How to Report
Report violations through:
- In-product reporting tools (look for the report flag)
- Email to support@vaicat.com
- Illegal content reports receive priority review
4.2 What Happens After You Report
- We acknowledge receipt of your report
- Trained staff review the content against our guidelines
- We take appropriate action if violations are found
- You receive notification of the outcome
4.3 Appeals Process
If you believe we made an error:
- Submit an appeal within 14 days of the decision
- Appeals are reviewed by personnel not involved in the original decision
- We aim to complete reviews within 14 business days
- EU Digital Services Act protections apply
